Bruce Wertheimer, Ph.D. earned his doctorate in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of South Florida. He has specialized in learning evaluation, leadership consulting, curriculum development, and facilitation. While at Verizon (1989 to 2006 & 2013 to 2016), he gained extensive experience in the evaluation and measurement of programs, projects, courses, and other HR initiatives. Currently, he is at Tampa General Hospital developing courses, facilitating courses, conducting career counseling sessions, and developing succession planning. He also has manufacturing experience in Lean Six Sigma.
During his career, he has developed and facilitated a large variety of leadership and management courses (online, virtually, and face-to-face) and led large-scale organizational development initiatives. He has conducted numerous job analyses for selection and training needs analyses (performance gap analyses). But his favorite activity is survey development and implementation, including employee engagement surveys and follow-up actions from the results.

Bruce used to enjoy traveling pre-pandemic. His wife, daughter, and son all work in healthcare. After being a Boy Scout Leader for 12 years, he now volunteers with Think Big Kids / Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
